Well, Young is officially the #2...we're releasing Harrell. I'm not a VY fan whatsoever, but he was clearly the lesser of the 2 evils, as Harrell has been terrible his entire time here.

God forbid Rodgers gets hurt :snoop:

At least Vince is mobile a bit, besides if McCarthy plays "Lets just rely on Aaron" jizz again that gets him sacked 50+ time. I gonna drive up to the stadium and smack the shyt out of McCarthy. We have running backs, use them. McCarthy gives off the most derp faces.

Cuts as of right now:

Vince Young (QB)
DJ Williams (TE)
Alex Green (RB)
Jake Stoneburner (TE) -- Will likely end up on the Practice Squad
Charles Johnson (WR)

Sounds like Matthew Mulligan (TE) is gonna get cut as well

Also sounds possible that we're gonna sign Joe McKnight. Maybe why we cut Green. Plus he can return kicks.

^^ No surprises there except VY (not because he's good but because he was named our #2).

So looks like Joe McKnight will be returning punts and Ross will be a ST coverage and #5 WR option.

So it goes:

Cobb
Jordy
James
Boykin
Ross

not bad. No true #1 WR but each one should hold their own against CB's especiall our 3-5 WR options...Feel sorry for D's who dont have depth in the secondary. Now if only we can field a fukking decent O-line :snoop:

I'm feeling mad pessimistic about next week brehs :patrice: the 49ers are a bad matchup and the Pack don't seem to be ready for the season. The number 1 offense only played 5 series the whole pre-season and guys like Nelson and Cobb didn't play at all.

The offensive line is still very shaky with limited depth and with that comes inconsistency once again in the ground game. Just thinking of the niners front 7 gives me thoughts of the atrocious game at the Meadowlands last year vs. NYG.

I am impressed with Jolly though. His return definitely helps the defensive line... and if they stay healthy that could be one of our more deeper positions along with the CBs. Morgan Burnett has to get to the next level and either Jennings or McMillan has to prove to be steady...I'd like to see more turnovers out of these young guys. We got spoiled with Woodson and Collins getting all those INTs.

Meh, doesnt matter who we sign as back up,if Rodgers goes down were done. We don't have a good enough line or running game to have an average QB look decent to good
