Help a breh out...Was looking to buy a laptop but only got $400.

I dont game.

I browse the internet and do lots of multitasking. I do watch lots of HD youtube, movies and porn. So help a brrh out.


I saw a amd a10-4600m for like 300..It's quad core with backlit keyboard.

Only requirement is that it has a backlit keyboard and is fast. Doesnt even need an OS becasue I have windows disk.

Just use Ebay. You can definitely buy a laptop with a newer AMD A10 or A8 APU for less than $300.

Intel CPUs are better, but AMD APUs are definitely better for gaming, graphics, & etc.

I have 2 MBPr..... both 15" but my 1st I got on CL for about $500 and it has all the Adobe programs.... CS5 though..... Its the 2008 model and that shyt is way better than my moms, dads, and many of my peeps newer PC laptops


This held me down till I got my second 15" MacBook Pro in 2014... the Retina Display jawn... brand new. Now I use my 1st one mainly for streaming and net browsing (like now) and the newer one for my design shyt

Why do you recommend old apple laptop? Are they that good? Also is the software easy to get use to since I only have used windows?

Very good...

I've had this Mac for a about 3 years and havent had not one problem from it.... I've watched numerous people go through a few PC's. Hell, at my job I have 2 laptops one PC and one Mac (like my own) and the pc feels like a cheaply made product. Like when I type I feel the base of the keyboard give and bend with every type. The Mac is more sturdy.

The OS is better than Windows

Everything runs and reacts faster

Visually everything looks more modern and sleek

Yeah, OP can't really blast you for asking when he's pretty much doing the same. I personally don't see how anyone could work on laptops except out of pure necessity.

But anyway @NutInsider why exactly does it need to be quadcore?
