almost nothing youve said conflicted with what I said. the red flags on curry were exactly his size/lack of athleticism and not being a pg. if he had superstar hype, how was he taken way too high ? exactly, he didnt have superstar hype.

yea in college dwill was better than cp3, thats the point. cp3 wasnt even the most hyped pg in his own class.

lonzo is far and away the most hyped pg prospect in this class and is considered a surefire PG player with a really high floor and a superstar ceiling.
He didn't have superstar hype correct. He had a good run in the NCAA tournament then bounced when the stock was high :russ: It was a pretty weak draft outside of Blake Harden and derozan so it's not that big of a deal. He did have hype though not superstar hype but enough hype for all the red flags to get looked over. He went 7th from Davidson off of 4 good games against power 5 competition that's hype if you ask me. He was drafted before ty Lawson a champion 4 year player :jbhmm:

He isn't 1 and done type talent, for sure.

I see Melo as a top 30-60 player and if Lavar wasn't his dad he'd be in college no less than 2 years. He simple doesn't have the quick twitch athleticism and has adopted bad habits but he can create his shot, has good vision, and a nose for the ball with good size.
so you know they setting them all up for a fall
superstar hype for supporting player level talent
lavar is the real talent

so we agree :manny: all I argued is that cp3 and steph didnt have the hype that lonzo has had, maybe even without lavar hype machine.

He's not 250...:comeon:

He's 230 and benches 300lbs easily

To answer OP... Yeah they're pretty good.

The youngest could eventually be the best one. Been playing varsity since he was like 13/14. Everybody who hasn't watched them only seen summer league shyt where he's basically the only nikka on an undersized team of neighborhood kids thats even ranked.

Zo is the most athletic and best passer and probably best overall though. Gelo is more of a workhorse scorer (lead the teams in scoring even when Zo was there). Like Zach Randolf but can shoot 3's and is a guard

Melo is flashier and more creative with getting his shot. I think they will all be in the nba together
Hey Otis,

Do you think Lavar can make it too? I'm not saying as a starter or anything, especially with his sons on the team, but maybe as a 6th man? Maybe Chuck Hayes on defense and on offense he could be an upgraded Al Jefferson that can step out to the 3 point line? Any reason he couldn't get 16-18 pts a game bruh?

You describe gelo kinda right he does it all he's just too small height wise and he's not super fast .

Dude got it all doe he can slash , got a nice midrange , 3 ball and he can post .

He one of them dudes that might make it and stay in the league forever just off pure hustle .

He ain't zach doe :pachaha:.

I watched his biggest high school games last year, on a team that was loaded with talent, and he looked like trash. Terrible IQ and terrible effort on both ends of the court.

It pisses me off because when he was a freshman he was my favorite player of the three. But after Lonzo left and he was "given the keys", he just became an arrogant prima donna, looking for his own shot on offense and hardly even steping within the three-point line on defense.

Chino Hills had a 6'9" power forward with soft hands, athleticism, and a jumper, ranked #4 prospect in the entire NATION.....and he only averaged 12ppg on like 10 shots because LaMelo had to get his 30+ shots every game.

The problem is people who don't watch basketball at the HS level, watch lamelo ball highlights and reach conclusions on decision making, IQ, etc. At 15-17, nobody's going to exhibit NBA-level decision making and IQ
You look at skills, physical traits, performance

I coached and I saw a LOT of players who were exhibiting far better decision making and IQ than LaMelo does.

Hell, there are plenty of teams where LaMelo would get benched in a quick minute for some of the shyt he pulls, no matter how good he is.

25% on threes in Las Vegas but still taking 20 a game....8-33 in the Mater Dei game with some horrible shots while the other PG sliced him up...spend an entire game cherry-picking so you can get a big scoring total....dribble for 20 seconds in a tied game and then throw up an awful 30-footer while double-teamed...having one of the top prospects in the country at PF and only getting him 12ppg....and then that lazy-ass shyt on defense every. damn. game.
