That's off scoring ability alone though. He will get abused by college athletes unless he changes his philosophy. I can see the coach benching him now for taking crazy ass shots

The only saving grace I have for Melo is watching him in that Oak Hill game and this past AAU tourney when he played Zion's team. Zion's squad was 10x bigger than them and should have ran them off the floor by like 30+. They controlled the game for the most of it but Melo held it down and their squad made it pretty respectable.

Lonzo one of the most hyped rookie in years. Suppose to be a JKidd/Nash level playmaker.

Liangelo is a 3-star recruit. 250lb SG, longshot to make NBA.

LaMelo is a top 15 junior in HS. Has better scoring instincts than Zo did but not the passer or athlete. I think he like 6'4 now, still growing obviously. Will probably make the league.

Lonzo's hype is due to his crazy dad, not his game..

Purely skills D-Rose, Kidd, CP3, Steph, etc were all more hyped than Lonzo

cp3 and especially steph were never as hyped as lonzo. was selected before cp3 from college

steph had way more red flags scouting-wise than lonzo, hence him falling all the way to where he was drafted. a lot of people, including myself werent sure if it was the right move.

Lonzo's hype is 90% due to the Big Baller Brand promo machine.
Steph was a college superstar.
