I've been giving out free Spanish courses (video and audio) + rosetta Stone for years. Dm me for the resources.

One of the things I did was get officially certified as bilingual, during the lockdown. There's a test you can take, actually several. Speaking (you speak for like 15-20 mins), reading, and writing. I took that cert to my job and got a 15k bonus. And I've only used it once and it wasn't mandatory, I just spoke with a client in Spanish because it made them feel more comfortable.

I took 2 years of Spanish in high school starting in 09 (it was really 3 years but I pretty much cheated on every test and never studied for year 3:mjlol:)

Anyway I felt motivated to learn Spanish so I bought this book on Amazon almost 3 weeks ago:

I only remembered some super basic phrases and vocabulary from high school. I’ve read and practiced about 1-2 hours every day since I bought the book. I’m on page 70 now. Translating written sentences from Spanish to English is easy as shyt. Translating written sentences from English to Spanish is slightly more difficult but I can do it.

Honestly writing this shyt down is the easy part. The hard part is speaking it fluently. And also keeping up with all the vocab they throw at you. But I can tell with a little more practice, I’ll have it down.

I was talking to this Venezuelan chick I’m smashing (she don’t speak any English:mjgrin:) and she stated the obvious that you have to watch shows in Spanish and listen to actu people talk to really get it. :manny:

I’m trying to learn this shyt now and it’s hard. One suggestion I haven’t seen yet is writing a journal in Spanish - like, record your day in Spanish
I don’t think it’s difficult but I took classes in middle school high school and college so maybe I have an upper hand however, I have some really good resources if you need them just let me know

Yes, reading and writing is the easy part but when I listen to people talk, I can catch some things or even when I listen to music, but did you start watching any TV shows
