My laptop just died!!!
It was a lenovo workstation

but I’m thinking of getting a MacBook next but not sure.

I mainly need a laptop for Netflix streaming, movies, youtube & surfing the web.

but I want high quality visuals, if I watch a movie I want high quality shyt!!!
Also not a small screen.

what should I get??
Budget is say 1k, is that enuff??

Don't take this advice. Sure it will have the look but keeping up Linux desktops requires a certain skill, desktop environment or not.
You don't want a small screen, and you want quality but your budget is a grand. You gonna have to adjust your requirements.
Based on your budget though I'd say go get a m1 macbook air. Great quality screen, great multimedia playback and very, very fast. Just has a 13in screen though

I always tell people to buy a MacBook. I have told like 5 or 6 people in real life to get MacBooks and all were happy with it. Some were only pc people before. Not 1 person went back to a PC laptop

I don’t use a MacBook personally, as I like to have some more customization options. But for like 90% of people, a MacBook is perfect. The simplicity and user experience is just great
