So I recently looked to upgrading my Internet mainly cause I want to start streaming tv shows, and cut my cable.

I looked into the Internet I have, after doing a speed test which resulted in 2.3mbs

:lupe:

my contract states that i should be getting 7mbs.

what could the issue be?

DSL is slow as hell nothing you can do about that....

Most DSL speeds are around 5mb or so...

You gonna have to step it up to that fiber or cable connection breh

It could be a problem with the node you are on. Nothing you can do if the entire neighborhood is on at the same time slowing down traffic.

disconnect all cables on the back of your router and turn it off for a full two minutes, connect back, check your speeds.

Also do you have a password on it?
