Help me out -- I need stories where a character tricks the Devil

it could be anything, movie, classic literature, biblical passages, whatever.

I need examples of stories where the main character signs a contract with the Devil then gets out of it... or dies, but somehow convinces the reaper to give them a second chance.

examples like the Treehouse of Horror episode of the Simpsons are fine, but I'm looking for more fleshed out stories if possible.

i know eveeything comes back to this, which im pretty sure is just a spin on Faust. I'm just seeing if i missed anything famous

Movie is one of the best examples of a contract with the devil and getting out of it to me.
