Word: Should I get the HTC One, GS4, Note 3 (if I get this, I'll splurge on the BT Wrist Watch Gear too) or the iPhone 5S.

Also, iOS heads, what's the major difference between the 5S and 5C?

I'm currently using a Samsung Fascinate :flabbynsick: running Android OS, and would prefer to continue with Android, but wouldn't mind switching to iOS7, since I have an iPad as it is, and will be investing in a Mac Book Pro soon

Depends on what your looking for.

Do you have a smartphone now?

What do you like/not like about it?

What are your expectations?

What do you plan to do with your phone.

Until you answer these questions any "advice" in this thread will just be people promoting their phone/ platform of choice

Yes, I have a smartphone. HTC, so Android OS. I do not mind switching operating systems. I do do quite a bit of work from my phone, but nothing major other than sharing a couple of files. I do need access to my emails at all times. Good battery life is a major plus, good camera is a plus because I do share photos for work. Other than that, I'm not to particular. Moreso looking for what will get me the most bang for my buck, and since they are all pretty much costing about the same...I'm just trying to see what are some of the subtle things that would make one particular phone better than another.

All high end phones on the market have good email support. So you don't have to worry about that. Battery life is also good accross the board, you'll get more use out of the phones with smaller screens though.

The major advantage to iPhones is the convenient size/weight. If you aren't looking for a big screen then the iphone is small and sleak. Will fit in your pockets with ease, but you said you do a lot of work from your phone, so depending on the type of work you may want a larger screen.

You are already an android user and I'm not sure how familiar you are with the os. But for most users the iphone is more simple/easy to use. But you do have more freedom with android, if your the type of person that wants to dive in and customize things.

Windows phones are best for productivity. Being that its windows, a lot of the programs that you are used to using on your PC (Office, outlook, ect) are available and its easy to move files back and forth between your PC and phone. Problem with windows phones is limited app support. So if your a phone gamer, you should probably stick with android or ios. Also a windows phone the Nokia lumina 1020 has by far the best camera in any smartphone, it's also $100 more expensive.

So as you can see it comes down to personal preference they all have pros/cons. It just depends on what you want to get out of the phone.

Thanks @MeachTheMonster !!! Exactly the info I was looking for.
I am familiar with ios too and would have no qualms at all with switching. And I actually didn't mind the screen size on the 5s once I got the actual phone in hand.

Yeah I'd recomend the 5s unless you need a larger screen or office on your phone.
