running Android OS, and would prefer to continue with Android, but wouldn't mind switching to iOS7, since I have an iPad as it is, and will be investing in a Mac Book Pro soonAlso, iOS heads, what's the major difference between the 5S and 5C?
so if the budget permits, just throw the 5C in the bushes and go with the 5S?The 5c is basically a 5 with some new paint on it.
The 5s is a 5 on steroids.

Depends on what your looking for.
Do you have a smartphone now?
What do you like/not like about it?
What are your expectations?
What do you plan to do with your phone.
Until you answer these questions any "advice" in this thread will just be people promoting their phone/ platform of choice

Yes, I have a smartphone. HTC, so Android OS. I do not mind switching operating systems. I do do quite a bit of work from my phone, but nothing major other than sharing a couple of files. I do need access to my emails at all times. Good battery life is a major plus, good camera is a plus because I do share photos for work. Other than that, I'm not to particular. Moreso looking for what will get me the most bang for my buck, and since they are all pretty much costing about the same...I'm just trying to see what are some of the subtle things that would make one particular phone better than another.

Exactly the info I was looking for. Thanks @MeachTheMonster !!!Exactly the info I was looking for.
I am familiar with ios too and would have no qualms at all with switching. And I actually didn't mind the screen size on the 5s once I got the actual phone in hand.
