If he was really being hyped, he'd be the consensus number 1 since the Browns are picking.

Wentz and Goff had more hype than this.

He's white with a broad jaw and dimpled chin.

It's that simple. White media is never offended when a White QB gets overhyped. In fact it strokes their internal sense of superiority when it happens.

Now is Trubisky were black, obviously there would be outrage and bewilderment how this guy could ever be considered a #1 pick.

The weird thing with trubisky too is that other than the whiteness he doesn't even look the part. Isn't he 6'1 maybe barely 6'2? Solid arm talent but nothing special, not that much better there if at all compared to Watson. Nothing special as far as production goes.

I mean he does have some tools, he would be a solid 3-4 round flyer qb that you'd take thinking that he fell because of expierience and there's a good chance if he had another year he would improve and be a mid/late first the next (emphasis on that's what your scouts thought PROBABLY would have happened).

Mahomes is the guy that looks the part and he's just in the last month started to shoot up.

Its like Darko in 2003, barely any footage on him, he averaged like 8 pts in 12 minutes a game, and it made scouts think hes a top prospect.

Or it might be they need to hype up a white QB because the 2 clearly best QBs in this draft are Watson and DeKizer

Trubisky is a bust.

But so are Watson and Kizer.

The stars of this class are Josh Dobbs, Brad Kaaya, and potentially Patrick Mahomes.
