Help me win an argument 🤣 Do you keep your dry cereal in the refrigerator?

I keep ketchup and mustard in there tho. fukk who don't like it. Me and my brother argue about the shyt. He called me a cold condiment nikka.

I don't even think that makes sense either. Can a roach really open a box or fit through the sealed flaps like that? We roll the cereal bag closed and use a little plastic clip on it before pushing it down into the box and sealing the box flap. I cannot see insects or bugs penetrating that shyt.

And even with mice, can a mouse get on top of a fridge like that?

Mice can climb anything.

I hate to say this but that is a holdover from being poor and living in a house with insects/rodents to protect your food.

I thought this too. In college a big ass fly somehow got in my cereal. I kept it in the fridge for a few months after that lol.

Roaches eat the glue and cardboard in cereal boxes and can fit through spaces less than 1mm thick.

Mice will create a path to and from food sources. They will tunnel through the ceiling and drop down onto the fridge, or, through a wall behind/next to the fridge. If there's anything hanging on the fridge like magnets, pictures, stickers, etc. they will climb using them.​

That’s so funny! I judge people if they put ketchup in the fridge, lol. I think it’s a matter of the Caribbean thing though. Are you guys American or Caribbean?

I’ve never heard of this, but my mom used to keep the potato chips in the refrigerator, and put the bread in during the summer, because she claimed the bread molded faster in the summer.

Dry cereal should be stored at room temperature

I grew up, and prefer to this day, putting cereal in the freezer.

We never had rodents or bugs, it takes longer to get soggy out the freezer.
