good news. I just got my keyboard today and my laptop is working great again.

and I got a USB keyboard, but how would that look??
I had older laptops where the keyboard was pretty inaccessible. on this one, it was simple. had it swapped out in less than 10 minutes.

I use a wireless keyboard and mouse all the time. Barely use my laptop keyboard....

Bad news fellas. In Sunday I powered off my laptop to take it to my sisters house and it never would power back on. I don't even know why. My guess is the motherboard is now shot. I totally disassembled it, and there was some sticky ness on the motherboard. But not much. And it's not the power cord either cuz I have tries others with no success. And dropping $200 for a motherboard isn't gonna happen when I can't guarantee it will fix the problem.
So in the time bein I'm debating in going to buy a new laptop or deciding if I should cop a MacBook instead. What would y'all do? I still got a netbook, iPad and iPhone to hold me downplays a desktop, so it's not like there's any urgency here either.
