requirements? is it A+ cert required ?
Basic networking skills (knowledge of DNS, DHCP, knowing static vs dyanamic ip addresses, ability to read results 'ipconfig /all' command)
A+ cert not required, but they would like you to get an A+, Net+, or Security+ within six months of hiring.

What's the best career choice in the IT dept.? Where should I start IT brehs?
Desktop support is the best starting point if you can get it. Youll learn about the intersections of all the services with the uset and youll develop vustomer support skills

Good info. I'm a Computer Programming Major but I want to dip my toes in all aspects - Networking , Support , Programming , Cybersecurity , etcetera

I want to get into ethical hacking and penetration testing.

That's my
Computer science for 4year degree route.

If you like or you are interested in the actual programming, get a 2 year degree in programming it will help you in practical programming far more than 4 year degree and get you on the job narket
