Honestly him going to school, he doesn't need to do it. But when a young black kid says he doesn't want to go to college or whatever, they won't be able to say "lebron didn't go".

He can also use this to inspire the kids in his boys and girls club/ scholarship program. All the athletes who might be on the fence about finishing a degree.

Lebron provides a true story of how you can be better than what your parents were.

School ain't shyt for a lot of folks right now....CaCs included Unless you talking Medicine, Law, Engineering and High High Tech... Study liberal arts in college when you can study computer science and just read the classics on your own time, brehs.

The idea that college isn't still useful is ridiculous.

My field( computer science) has full employment right now.

Another reason Lebron is choosing Akron is I think he has a scholarship program set up with them, and also, having Lebron's name attatched to Akron as a student, will help enrollment
