I just can’t see him as a better prospect. He’s not as athletic, arm not as good, slower wind-up yet he’s gonna be the top qb taken if he declares?? :gucci:

well yea, Mariota was a far superior college player and better athlete

he kind of reminds me of Paxton Lynch with a better arm. id be horrified if im a Giants fan and he starts to get #1 talk
Last year was the year to get a qb. This draft is not for qb’s. Maybe y’all pay a fortune for Jameis.

Nobody's paying anything for Jameis. Everybody knew he was a gunslinger in college and would have turnovers but not this many this far into his career
Ehh that could be due to coaching. I think hes better than Stafford and he improved because of Caldwell.

Draft the best available player like they did last year with Barkley and than draft nothing but offensive lineman in the 2nd 3rd and 4th rounds than tank for Tua again next year.

When the 2016 draft rolled around people were saying that the QB draft prospects were trash and we ended up with Wentz and Goff being ballers. Mariota's QB class in 2015 had all the hype and has been pure mediocrity so far. People don't know shyt when it comes to these QB classes :yeshrug:

This years QB class in general is pretty cheeks. Reminds me of 2013 a lot. A couple big guys with all the physical tools (Herbert, Lock) but nothing else that makes them draftable.

And just like that class, I think max we get 2 long term backup QB's out of it and the rest are all out of the league within five years.

Herbert is Brock Osweiler 2.0 and he'll be a top 5 pick probably. I think the dude from NC State is a better prospect...and the only one who might be a career starter.
