I'm glad that other people have noticed this trend too. His whole selectively sanctimonious approach is so lame.

Is Punk a racist? I'm not sure, but I'd guess he isn't. He's more likely a guy who makes a lot of bad Twitter decisions in his never-ending quest to come across as smart and cool. It appears that he thinks he's smarter than he really is, and he seems like he's insecure about how others perceive him so he tries way too hard and ends up defeating his own purpose.

While it's true that some racists present themselves as having black friends for image reasons, it's kind of insulting to Kofi to suggest that he'd cluelessly be friends with a racist. I'm sure Kofi's not that stupid.

So I'd say Punk's more likely an arrogant prick than a racist. An arrogant prick with a talent for putting his foot in his mouth because of his need to seem cool.
