I already see its gonna be a generation of nikkas bringing up Jordan in every bball discussion like old nikkas now who only talk of Jim Brown in football and Sugar Ray Robinson in boxing. Let that nikkas nuts breathe.

:leostare: It's happening NOW and BEEN happening the past several years.

He did more in less time.

Operative word being more.

Remember to up this thread when Bean comes back and takes 3rd place on the all-time scoring list. :jawalrus:

And yeah Jordan more things in less time but ur acting like Kobe wasn't playing with a bonafide superstar in Shaq from the get go, and had to share the ball....who did Jordan have to share with when he came into the league with to share? O Woolridge? Oakley? :heh:

Jordan had the immediate green light from day one.

Just enjoy the damn game while you get to see great players. One day will come when we wont have a Kobe, Lebron or MJ type talents in the league. It's not a given.

like anyone would realistically have given rookie kobe the "green light" in his rookie year, let alone the playoffs. we all know what happened when he was given the go ahead

 @ having a wide open uncontested 3 pointer to TIE the game in overtime with 8.5 seconds to go and airballing :damn:

meanwhile rookie jordan was averaging 29 pts, 4.6 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 2.75 steals his first time in the playoffs :youngsabo:

edit- kobe's rookie playoff numbers if anyone's interested: 9.25 ppg, 1.3 reb, 1.3 assists, 0.375 steals. including 0-6 from 3 in that game 5 at utah with a blistering 28% fg shooting :flabbynsick:

So ur telling me a 17-year old KID Michael Jordan would've came in the playoffs beastin?

Stop.

This is why I generally stay outta these arguments. As I will do so now...

And Kobe's failure and embarrassment in that series was probably the best thing to happen to him.

You've always seemed like a reasonable laker fan. Do you think it's fair to ignore kobe's early career when it comes to assessing career averages, but to include the early years when assessing career totals?

That's called having your cake and eating it too.

At age 34, Kobe had more missed shots and more torn achilles.

Bilz if by the grace of God we ever had a COLI mixer, me and you gon shoot the fair 1! The best you can hope for is that I have broken every bone in my fists beating Malc upside that big ass forehead of his. If I ever see that nikka IRL I'm catching a body, on my momma! And you are getting closer and closer to that line.

i didnt type anything about jordan at 17.... go back and re-read i choose my words very deliberately.

kobe has come a long way from shooting 28% in a series clinching, win or go home game as a rookie tho. i think we can all agree on that, yes?

he increased his shooting % a full THREE points, from 28% to 31% in a nba title deciding win or go home game, where he scored 22 pts on 31% shooting:troll:
this came as a seasoned 12 year vet :troll:

he experienced success in his 14th year though, this time truly shining in another series clinching game with more clutch play...

....

shooting 25%, and in homage to his rookie year, missed all 6 of his three pointers in game 7 of the 2010 finals. gasol and artest were there to clean that up though

You laughed, like I knew you would. But you got other nosey ass nikkas sticking they nose in business that it don't belong, as usual, trying to do god knows what.

We have and understanding, you hate Kobe and I hate you for hating Kobe. After we fight, I'll buy you a 5 rings t-shirt.

Jordan took 298 more shots then Kobe at age 34.....and only scored 224 more points.
