Similar scenarios with jordan vs phoenix. Phoenix might have had the more talented team won more games and had the league mvp at the time. Jordan set the tone and that inspired the rest. Lebron has to do the same. All the all time greats do it. Time for lebron to have a series for the ages. If he overcomes this warrior team he can cement his legacy in a place among the top 5. If he lays down once again shaking his head like he doesn't have enough help he is who we thought he was.
Good point. THIS is the series Lebron needs to go crazy. F the percentages, the assists, all that. I really thought that would be his approach in Game 2. NOt saying it will work, but he has to inspire that fire in his teammates and go all out.
Also underated is the fact that the Warriors are strong mentally and, surprisingly for the defending champ, on a mission. They heard all the doubters, people were bringing up last years injuries, then laughing when they record seemed to be out of reach after those end of seasons defeats, then when they were down 1-3...they overcame all of that. They seem much more motivated than the Cavs, like they're the ones who lost last year. I said it early this season all the doubters were the best thing that could happen to them.
