They were promised useless fluff jobs unfortunately. IDK if you have ever worked in Government, but there is a TON of fluff fukkery jobs out there where folks are just collecting checks and making GOOD money.

The millenials they hire have at least a masters and are working on their doctorian. They usually make these millenials do all the work while the boomers go shopping at the local mall. I know it far too well. New workers usually get burnt out within a year and become jaded because they see the boomers just using work for socializing.

Exactly. My Ex had an aunt who works in Govt, has a HS Degree only but been working in govt for damn near 20-30 yrs and makes 6 figures doing nothing.

yup. This is the thing that pisses me off about DC. People brag about DMV having the highest earning blacks, but majority of these blacks are simply working BS govt jobs collecting checks and not building anything. At least in ATL Blacks are getting their wealth in the private sector and entrepreneurship.

put a freeze on work permits for 5 years would clean out a lot of people who constantly abuse the work permit system to stay in America knowing they wont get a citizenship and want to just have anchor babies.

To be real, I have no sympathy for the illegal thing simply because America doesnt let black people into this country to even enjoy the American dream. Less Visas come out of the entire continent of Africa and the caribbean combined than the entire country of Mexico.
