He lied about how long they were potentially going to be in prison. If you paid attention to the story from the beginning, it sounded like 2 weeks to a month in jail. Trump was out here saying it was 10 years, yet you're still going to believe it was his cunning political savvy that saved them. And not the UCLA-China connection, or at most some other US gov't official with actual diplomatic skills, and not some borderline illiterate neo-nazi.
