truth is, the problem isnt this game alone. its ALL of the games ALL of the time. so some game is going to be the one that catches the heat. and then another and another and another. until they does us right overall.
I agree with this. If CD project was an American company then they would get no pass from me.
But I just don't know enough about polish culture to condemn cdpr.
To us diversity and inclusion is an everyday subject beyond videogames. Its a part of American culture. We expect diversity because America has always been diverse.
Poland is not that way. Its all white folks and diversity isn't even on their radar. The devs probably don't even know any black people enough to even think about how to put them in a game.
But now that they have gone global and mainstream I expect them to pay attention to the wants and needs of their customers. We as black people/Americans should let them know that its unacceptable if we are to continue to pay money for their games. So I'm fine with the conversation going on. I just don't think the devs made a conscious decision to exclude black folks, or Latino, or Asian for that matter.
