the Seance scene is up there!
From the moment Annie pops out of that dark corner to chase Peter to the very end of the flick. Repeatedly banging her head on the ceiling, like some shyt you’d see in a music video for a metal band. The concept of your own possessed mother going after you and wanting you dead is

All this happening after seeing your charred father’s body

I remember waking up at that exact moment upon a rewatch, in pitch black at night, and it startled the shyt outta me.

Ari is truly something else.

Still one of the worst films I ever seen :mjlol:

Still can't get over a child with a peanut allergy constantly eating foods that might have peanuts in them and thats a plot point of the movie :mjlol:
This dumb ass post.

Mafukkas can go along with people having super powers in 1 movie, people having magical abilities, and the undead walking the Earth in a movie.....

But a child with developmental issuses and nut allergies, eating a brownie someone handed to her, with nuts in it, is where they draw the line.

Watched this for the first time. It was okay. Wont call it trash but don't get the whole talk about this being one of the best horrors.

I'm generally not a fan of movies where you have to go afterwards to read theories and explanations.

Looks like the search of another horror that will get scare the heck out of me like Conjuring will be a lifelong one :francis:

I don't often get "scared" as an adult just watching a movie but this was the scariest shyt I seen in a minute. Every time y'all bump this thread :picard:

What was so scary? The accident was definitely a holy shyt moment and the mum was bat shyt crazy throughout the movie. Her chasing the son at the end was scary to a point but what else? I'm not sure what I'm missing that alot of people see.

And this might surprise some of yall but horror movies scare me quite easily.

The tension throughout the film is very unsettling in a way that keeps you on edge and anything to do with the occult is going to make me uneasy. It's gruesome, depressing and unforgiving.

Somewhere tropic...
The mom crawling on the wall, banging her head on the attic and then sawing her own shyt off are the most hair stand up on the back of my neck shyt I've experienced in modern times
