Whos most open now during covid? Ghana, Kenya, or TZ? Want a spot to bounce to for a few weeks
Kenya just extended their curfew another 60 days and their strict about it. Remember: it has NOTHING to do with covid-19. It's just politics and international aid. TZ is wide open. And I haven't heard any new development since I left but I don't believe there is any curfew. don't forget to do your due diligence and check the entry requirements of whatever country you choose to visit. For example if you go to Benin Republic you'll end up taking two additional test as soon as you arrive not including the test you probably took to exit the US or get on a airline so keep that in mind

No that graph is legit. It was part of a study done by a genetic analysis site called DNA Tribes.

They studied the STR profiles of the New Kingdom Amarna Royals and the results showed that their STRs matched at their highest frequencies with populations around and south of the Great Lakes region.

Ancient Egyptians were a mixed group of people, for sure, but the corpus of their progenitors originated south and moved up the Nile.

On the other point, I'm not sold on Bantus originating in Egypt.

Haplogroup A originated on the border of Botswana. It's hard for me to conceptualize an out migration from that area to West Central Africa for there to be an inverse migration back into East and South Africa.
I'm not disputing the graph because it leads to a nature.org website but it's just the blog in general.

That study was done by DNA tribes a couple of yrs ago! It DOESN'T matter who (mis)uses their findings cause facts are NEUTRAL.

Mummy DNA unravels ancient Egyptians’ ancestry

Mummy DNA unravels ancient Egyptians’ ancestry
Genetic analysis reveals a close relationship with Middle Easterners, not central Africans.

It reveals that mummies were closely related to ancient Middle Easterners, hinting that northern Africans might have different genetic roots from people south of the Sahara desert.

Ancient DNA: Curse of the Pharaoh's DNA
The study, published on 30 May in Nature Communications1, includes data from 90 mummies buried between 1380 bc, during Egypt’s New Kingdom, and ad 425, in the Roman era. The findings show that the mummies’ closest kin were ancient farmers from a region that includes present-day Israel and Jordan. Modern Egyptians, by contrast, have inherited more of their DNA from central Africans.

Twi is the language the Akan people, Asante specifically.

Also there's another blog complied by a brother who really did his homework.

You mention the science is lazy, do you know the basics of said science? Are you verse in the human genome project?

:comeon:

what does this have to do with anything I posted?

so me a test that caters for tribal distinctions and we can talk about the science

if not

At LEAST one guy here is familiar with the graph! I'm DISAPPOINTED more of us aren't aware of it. Tbh, we SHOULD know THIS ishyt!

An earlier post of mine, which I largely agree with suggest Bantu may have migrated there from EA and the Great Lakes and later returned to their origins after the Black Persian invasion of 600 bc.

Keep in mind 1380bc is still 2000 years after Ancient Egypt started.

They had already been conquered by the Heksos (a group from Libya).

The original ancient Egyptians migrated south of the Nile.

Genealogical DNA test - Wikipedia

You need to understand how science works esp when it comes to genetics and anthropology.

"Y-DNA and mtDNA cannot be used for ethnicity estimates, but can be used to find one's haplogroup, which is unevenly distributed geographically.[26] Direct-to-consumer DNA test companies have often labeled haplogroups by continent or ethnicity (e.g., an "African haplogroup" or a "Viking haplogroup"), but these labels may be speculative or misleading.[26][27][28]"

Hausa and Yoruba might be part of the same haplogroups but some individuals might have a different ratio or frequency than others. It's not what you think it is.

They did an update to my DNA sample.

31% cameroon/western banquet
14/14% Spain and Portugal
14% Nigeria
And pretty much various degrees of mali, ivory coast.

Now here's something that I never seen pop up out of all the updates they done.

They have Egypt and Greece now under my DNA.
It just to say I had Jewish ancestry but I think they converted it to Egypt now

They updated indigenous to be indigenous Haitian/Dominican.

I don't understand.

Also, is this 23andMe or Anc.DNA?
