They used to do the same thing with LBJ when he was on Miami. I remember after the Heat would lose a game back in the 2010-2011 season, the media would be ready to pounce.

I KID YOU NOT!! LeBron said something along the lines of "Rome wasn't built in a day", and White people had issues with that. That's why whenever White people act like they're angry at Cam or other Black athletes for pulling stunts like this, I always take their outrage with a grain of salt. Because if that Black athlete is universally hated by White fans and White media, then it really doesn't matter what that athlete says in their post-game interviews. White people would turn it into a negative. Even if they buck dance and c00n.

Lol, I'm sure that's what he was avoiding. He knows how the media would have portrayed him as an angry black man from then on.

You're becoming very hyperbolic with your language. This is a bad Coli trait that otherwise good posters like you and myself often pick up. Let's be thoughtful and even-keeled.

Was Newton wrong to abruptly leave the press conference without owning up to his loss and answering questions thereof? Yes. Should he be censured and criticized for this lack of professionalism? Yes. But his leaving due to disappointment does not mean he is a "bytch". It merely means Cam is a human being and still has more to learn. Even Brady suffers a lack of sportsmanship at times. Let Cam make his mistakes and come back better next season.

I never called him a bytch. I said he ran away like a bytch. I have said this about other players doing it in the past. I have criticized Marshawn for it most recently. But I'm not too hard on Marshawn since he isn't a showboater. Bruh, this guy was taking team pictures on the sidelines while the game was going on, that shyt rubs people the wrong way. All that celebrating after 1st downs and shyt, the trash talk on the field. That shyt rubs people the wrong way so when you get humbled you take it....not run off like a puss. And I'd riticize Brady for doing the same thing. I can't stand Brady for acting like a massive beeyatch at times too.

I agree. It isn't a good look. But White People are being disingenuous as White Hell, if they're acting like last-nights post-game interview was the straw that broke the camels back. They would've been outraged at Cam regardless of what he did.

They would've been outraged at Cam if The Panthers won and he threw for 350yds and 5TDs.

They used to routinely get mad at Cam for hanging his head in post-game Press Conferences. Not for leaving post-game press conferences, not for cursing out the media, just for hanging his head while addressing the media.

What happened last night is just more useless fodder to coat their internal frustrations at a Black QB. And I'm not buying what their selling. Not Yesterday....Not Today....Not Tomorrow.

But overall he really could've handled it a tad bit better. :manny:

You make a good point (it's hard to get understand from your writing thouh). The crux of it is that people that hate Cam hate him regardless of what he does. People who like Cam like him regardless of what he does. This recent incident is just theatrical fodder for the thespians who hate Cam.

But honestly, it's not like Cam's faults are that bad, where liking him should be viewed as a task or should be viewed as something tough. Cam likes to dance. SO WHAT. Aaron Rodgers does his discount double-check(Whites love it), Tom Brady cusses EVERYONE out(Whites love it), Carson Palmer once did some hybrid "suck it/Ejaculation" type move after a touchdown, Peyton Manning once threw his O-Line under the bus in a post-game interview, and Big Ben was accused of sexual assault twice. But Cam dances, America pounces....

Children walk out of the room in frustration.

Dude put himself in time out.

He's the face of the Panthers and he couldn't even deliver but one sentence. I'm familiar with Marshawn and his deflection from the media... but that's his character; low key and mute.

CAM EXUDES HIMSELF AS A LARGER THAN LIFE CHARACTER WITH A PERSONALITY AS BIG AS HIS EGO, suddenly that personae has dissipated in the wind... dude couldn't even belch a post-game utterance because losers in the sore spectrum of things feel entitled to NOT say anything. Like i don't owe you shiit cuz i'm a millennial who worked so damn hard to the SB only to get that D that i didn't prepare myself for.

You wanna dab the fukk yourself into bolivia and then take your biggest loss of the year at the biggest stage in American sports culture... then you go out like a bytch.

So that then...

or don't.

.
This is why I can't listen to you clowns. His ego? you can't be serious. Dude is likely a very humble and grateful person to make it this far from JUCO.

This is a gladiators arena and it's entertainment. You are supposed to exude confidence, and you are not supposed to be humble and reserved when it comes to battle. Of course you have to back it up like mayweather, but let's be real, the man accomplished A LOT!

Be the captain and team leader of a sport where the defense wants to break you half humbly and cautiously brehs.

The falling down on the sideline was easily the worst look of it all. The cleats/superman tshirt werent a great look either....the media session dont really care about.

As far as the superman thing I think it's time to drop that its beyond lame.

Give me a break with this one

This is hilarious. Imagine the outrage people would've had if Cam was still smiling after the loss and still happy. The narrative would've been he doesn't care, he's not a competitor, etc. And lets not forget the whole team was taking pictures on the sidelines during the year...not just Cam.
