I'm starting to get bored of games. I only really have an anticipation for Bayonetta 2 and Kingdom Hearts 3 when things are all said and done. Nearly everything else is irrelevant to me.

Remember when you could turn a game on and within a few minutes be playing the game? Now every game that comes out seems like you have to watch a 10 minute video or some extended cut-scene bullshyt constantly. I want to PLAY games, not watch them. If I wanted to watch something, I'd put a movie on. I'm really not that interested in stories, I want enjoyable gameplay. Is anyone else with me?
I barley have time to game as it is let alone having to wait for the fukkin thing to load and load and load. Then there's software updates and all kinds of other content that needs to be installed. I do miss the old school turn a game on hit start and u playing. fukking technology.

Nothing more annoying than sitting down ready to play a game and you gotta install a system update. Such a buzzkill.

You must still be on last gen. PS4 updates and shyt are pretty much in the background. PS3 was the main culprit of long load and installs but that's gone now.

I hate having to skip a logo, then an intro scene, then load th emain menu, then load my file, then wait for the game to load.

i'm gonna sound like a fanboy and i was one back in the day(sega), but i have not really enjoyed games since my dreamcast.
i have owned ps2,ps3,psp,xbox360,gamecube since, but i guess i just grew out of my gaming phase.
i have enjoyed games on each of those consoles, but having lost that youthful enthusiasm i once had for games, has robbed me of TRULY enjoying
games like i used to.
i really miss that feeling and always hope that it'll return with every new console i buy!!
waiting for prices to drop so i can check out ps4 or xbox 1!

after the last of us it made me really realize how completely awful other games are at stories and character development.

seems strange but these days my consoles collect dust andim constantly playing on my vita because its a great pick up and play indie machine.

Ain't nothing worse than turning on your ps4 after days of not playing to realize your controller doesn't have a charge, and that little as USB cord ain't gonna stretch accross my living room :beli: Why can't they give you a longer cable?

I'm with you on this. I definitely grew up on Sega & lost my passion for gaming once they stopped making consoles. I have all of their consoles & handhelds to this day. I'm still waiting for Shenmue III even though we more than likely won't ever get it.

:camby: thats a real wack ass reason to lose interest in games. gameplay/stories have always been integral parts to games. And if you dont like cut scenes, you can just skip them...
