Asap rocky is boring
Lil b a good artist tho
Lil b a good artist tho

His flow is one of his best attributesI never listened to Kool Keith but I am an unashamed Lil B stan.... when I first heard Kool Keith I gained a much bigger understanding of Lil B
Rap right now is paralyzed with the fear of conformity. nikkas are scared to death of not fitting in. Dudes like Kool Keith and Lil B work to show that it's OK and even better to do what you want, regardless of what others think.
I never really rocked with ASAP Rocky though. His flow is weak like Angela Yee's thoughts. When he raps it sounds like he doesnt want to be there. Like he is just messing around. I dont like that.
Who the fukk are Drake, Kendrick and J Cole trying to be? And are they in the all-time conversation for whatever it is they're trying to be? Kendrick is trying to be an intellectual rapper in the tradition of intellectual rappers before him. That's what the media sells to me. When I hear these cats, particularly with Kendrick, I hear an immensely-watered down version of popular, acclaimed stuff before him. He wants to be a deep observer like Nas? He's nowhere close. And saying that Kendrick is close to Nas in that department is offensive to anyone who's actually paid attention to this hip hop shyt. He wants to be Andre 3000 and blur genres? He doesn't have the voice for it nor the stellar production (Kendrick doesn't have anything on the level of Organized Noize). Is Kendrick even as deep as Lupe? Blu? Ka?
There it is. Had to be a reason you were hating on K-Dot's new album without even listening to it. You are a stan. You have just been exhibiting your stan traits. Stans do weird shyt. How can you shyt on Kendrick but then praise ASAP Rocky? That shyt don't make any sense. And that shyt you said about Rocky...

You got interesting theories, but maybe Kendrick doesn't want to be Andre 3000. Or Nas. Or Blu. :kenny: Maybe Kendrick just wants to be Kendrick.
I mean, if you can only be described as this combination of a bunch of different things, you're your own thing at that point.
Im a fan of asap rocky but he did steal lil bs producers clams, beautiful lou, cpl others, shyt was cold, then he started off his single with "Im a pretty muthafukka" we know that pretty boy shyt was lil bs.
even tiny pants. lil bs very first single "we can go down" see what lil b was wearing. folks clowned that single SUPER HARD when it first came out, look at it today and it looks like a fukking video shot last year. Even the director Colin Tillin is being used by Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and Rick Ross. even the shot with his sunglasses that have the light ring, that shyt is commonly used now.
lot of people dont know about lil bs influence. he came at a time when the internet was starting to rev, mainstream was at halt but nobody wanted to break out the mold. He said fukk it, fukk who doesnt like it, but imma create a lane and stick to it. folks slowly but surely caught on. musta took a lot of work and self esteem.
So @Big Mel by the contrary u must think some dudes are handsome. Werent u the guy getting @ nikkas for ranking Nas as the GOAT off his looks? U a funny style dude mayne. Way to miss the point of the song as well.
if the music was worth a shyt i might could. i know people pretend he's had dope beats but it's just lazy atmospheric stuff mostly.
Does these count as lazy atmospheric?
You've been known to kick a cub scout or two, but even the heartless can't help but feel this shyt.
