sure, but we don't see that happening, and there's no reason to assume it could happen
"anything's possible" and blah blah blah, but that doesn't mean it's probable
i cant buy it.. if earth made it to the point that anyone could travel around the galaxy on some wild wild west shyt.. and there were thousands or millions of planets with some type of civilizations on them in reach then there would be a thousand different reasons for visiting and interacting with these planets with wildly different types of humans even reaching out..
I don't like how that show presents science

Humanity cant really guage probability with such limited time on the planet and even smaller understanding of the universe and what little we can gauge is in a very small scope.
It's a dumbed down version of science
. I just like the cool experiments / interviews the show is able to gain access too...

You are mistaking an innately human trait for one that only white people possess. Whites are not the only race of people to enslave and murder and pillage. I was just using the example as it is probably the one most are familiar with. Humans are a violent species, but I am of the opinion that life itself is violent, and its the way the world works. The strong (whether through intelligence or physical traits) outlast, outlive, and are generally ambivalent towards weaker species.
Exactly my point. They would do the same to us. Examine, explore and find out how we tick in the name of science. How do we do that here on Earth? We place animals in enclosures and subject them to a myriad of experiments in the name of the betterment of society. An advanced race may well use us as their lab animals, pets....food

well you might as well say "how can we know anything". we do the best we can. and if it's able to make accurate predictions, it must have some value

you do know the laws of physics are human theory right? these dudes could be millions of years more advanced than us
in our world, institutionalized scientific theory supersedes all facts and possibilities of the Universe.
We have no knowledge of/if other organisms in the universe have mastered worm holes or if they can figure out some new sh1t like using the gravitational pulls of the stars and planets to speed space travel. We don't even know if they are living on Earth monitoring us right now undetected- utilizing some technology we've never considered.
