Any movie where the protagonist has a clear opportunity to eliminate the evil sadistic bad guy but instead gives him a paper cut before running away gets two thumbs down from me.

The movie wasn't perfect, I had it at a 7/10 before that, but after that I wanted to turn the sht off

Feel like this plot has been done before a couple times. That movie with John Goodman and black phone are better versions of this movie but this was still not bad 3/5 stars

had good buildup.....but the writers/directors are not creative enough to keep it going in the second half when they have to stick the landing.......all that babbling just for it to be "control"...no imagination or creativity....and i know people gonna be like "well thats the point religion leads you to a disappointing reveal" nahh this was just bad story telling.

Watch the french movies Martyrs instead of this
