He's not perfect, but where does Tariq Nasheed stand with you as a black voice in the media?

If your not trolling, let me break it down for you;

HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT PEOPLE THAT SUPPORT THE MOVIE, HAVEN'T PREVIOUSLY OR CURRENTLY READ BOOKS ON BLACK HISTORY?

How do you know?

Did you survey Black people?

For the past three pages the honorable fukkboi @Paz has been saying Black people should go the library and learn Black history, without any sort of evidence. He is ASSUMING that the Black people that have seen Hidden Colors haven't read books on Black history. His argument is illogical.

I've read over 100 comments and reviews about hidden colors waking people up and giving them an identity. If they read they would of already had their identity.

i haven't.

once again, you sure speak like you know me, breh.

first off, for starters, tariq is basically exploiting ignorance. you know, with the whole insecurity of folks manhoods and homophobia. it shows what type of man he is. after all, he did get his start from misogyny. "how to be a mack?" huh.... well, here's a history lesson. the whole "player, pimp, sexual conquest" thing has always been a negative thing used against black men since slave times. why would tariq promote such NEGATIVITY such as historically racist stereotypes?

and he's here uplifting black people specifically black men huh?

You sound like those Black feminists on twitter :mjlol: "He's a misogynist!!" :mjlol:

the internet
this would be valid but he's shown & proved that he wants to make transformative changes. he's being proactive instead of being reactionary like a lot of so called activists do.

and nikkas have no problem with white people operating within a capitalistic society, but when a black person does it he's some iniquitous devil.
dude im the biggest capitalist here.
You just have to peep the game that people in the media/entertainment use to make money.
The issue isnt what he's doing...the issue is the people that follow him.

"if you cant spot the sucker in the room, the sucker is you"

He would be better off giving business advice and making the subject of his podcast/movies financial freedom...but its easy to recite basic stuff thats been talked about in the black bookstore circuit since forever.

He doesnt because people soak up the victim stuff much easier (and its more profitable).
Like I said before, you see it througout all demographics. Women, poor white people, black people, Jews, Christians....they all have their hustlers that sell them the same sad story.

You all would be better off listening to Les Brown types (they dont have to be black btw) that are focused on improving your life, and making you see how to create your own opportunities.

so you're basically saying that it's okay for men to treat women like objects. that's what his whole "the mack" book is about. i hope you don't have a daughter.

At the start of the first movie, he said he was watching History Channel and was tired of White washed history. He wanted to create a documentary to show Black people real history. thus Hidden Colors. But :umad:

no, but i know that's what it's about. basically treating women like fukking objects like they're a video game or something instead of human beings.
