He's not perfect, but where does Tariq Nasheed stand with you as a black voice in the media?

WRONG! Tariq talked about black men, and women, issues before swp. Tariq had his podcast since 2006. Sargewp started around 2008. SWP was the one who just kept talking about it though.

wrong, swp was around in 05-06, you can find his google trail. and i recently took the time to listen to tariqs old macklesson shows. while swp was trying to dissect the black male, black female dynamic, tariq was giving advice to dusty nikkas on how to mack to women.

why would he do that when that is how he gained fans? Who do you think supported the financing for Hidden colors?.

you cant be both. you cant be a pro-black guy while you're teaching guys how to get over on women. at this point, the conscious black community is financing hidden colors. not his broke ass fans that's constantly bytching about getting kicked out they girls crib. them nikkas are the ones probably bootlegging it

No one knew who the hell swp was in 2005? He got noise in 2008. And Tariq first shows dealt with macking women of different races, and black women, and hair. All his podcasts were really about improving yourself, not just getting p*ssy. Anyone who heard those shows know he always gave little jewels about being a proud black man, and woman. It's foul that you're downplaying how much shyt he talked about to get the black man to improve himself. SWP, just complained, and dissed black women. He only changed when he got tired of people telling him he's saying the same shyt. He really changed when he heard some black men say they didn't need to control the relationship with money. That's what cause him to change, nothing else. He was trying to prove his arument over someone who was saying its about character. He believes its about money to keep women from acting crazy. He had over 500 videos of him saying the same shyt. He used to dis black women with false statistics and shyt. I just listened when I need a laugh, I didn't take him serious. Tariq was showing me how to live life, like I knew I should.

@lotty @marcuz Both these personalities are using ideologies from Neely Fuller, F.C.W Isis papers, etc..

I mean LITERALLY LIFTED down to when Neely fuller says SIR, and MA'AM. Tariq Snarky yet Direct examples of how WS is also from NF ("standing around in a group getting your ass kicked, is not tangible results").

It's all good. NU BLACK CONSCIOUSNESS needs people like Tariq, or SWP to TRANSLATE to the youth and less intelligent.

tariq is the only one with a voice that's talking about solutions through group economics. i do dislike how he intertwines group economics with buying his dvds, but still, he sets a decent example.

but to keep it funky, he borrowed a lot of his material from SWP. from the "BW Bashing" to feminist hating to group economics. SWP has always been ahead of the curve, but dudes like Tariq have actually made a profitable career off it.

Tariq doesn't bash Black Women. He bash so called Black Feminist.

And you have it backwards breh. SWP stole from Tariq. SWP even said this himself breh.

SWP is one of Tariq b*stard child just like Tommy Sotomayor. SWP even said himself that he idolized Tariq, until Tariq dissed him and SWP caught feelings just like Tommy.

All SWP and Tommy Sotomayor did was take some of what Tariq used to talk about in his old podcast back in day and used it to bash black women.

Tariq has always said that he didn't co-sign SWP or Tommy Sotomayor black women bashing agenda.

shyt, Tariq has bashed white women many of times nikka.

He never taught how to get over on women, he taught how to date women. He always said don't date hoodrats, get a good woman, take care of yourself, and if you want to mack this is what you do. Nothing about shytting on women.

as far as a black voice in the media, he's elite:myman:

Any Black entertainer that:

1) openly promotes group economics
2) puts their own funding into projects that entertain and teach young Black people about their history
3) consistently calls out white supremacy and crab in the barrel c00ns
4) supports other Black people and their causes

Is up there in my opinion:salute:

I know there are plenty of Black people who actively do more, but I guess they aren't as charismatic, nor do they receive any media attention( I wonder why:mjpls:)

I'm not a fan of him bashing Black women, but I don't feel its on the same level as Tommy. Tariq actually goes in on Black males too, but I guess we only hear what we wanna hear when it comes to certain people:sas2:.
Let me go a lil deeper... Tariq goes in on Black feminists that he feels supports white supremacy. Hes shown much love to Francess Cress Welsing, Michelle Alexander:noah:, Sharazard Ali, and plenty others...

As far as him being a "pimp", and teaching males how to trick women...I havent read those books, nor did I learn about him through those books. From what I've personally heard via ustream and his radio show, he teaches men how to attract women by being men-- shyt our fathers(should) teach us, so its nothing new:yeshrug:

I'm indifferent to him trying to sell me stuff. Hes a self-admitted hustler; I'd rather be sold my history through my peoples eyes, then receive the enemy's version of my history for free.

I'd rather spend money on someone I know is going to put extra funds towards causes that matter to me, then spend it on the dominant society who gives more fukks about dumping buckets of water on they heads, than making sure justice is served for all the young Black males and females unfairly taken from us too early:to:

He's honest in his approach. He says straight up that hes about his paper, and he ENCOURAGES the rest of the Black community to be about their paper too. The difference is he also encourages the Black community to spend and circulate that paper with our own people, versus spending it on people who protect a system that encourages our destruction.

Both these guys are not saying nothing that Neely Fuller JR, Claude Anderson, Frances Cress Welsing, Phil Valentine, Haven't already said. They wrote the Ideologies, Tariq, Umar Johnson, SWP, Prof Grif(but he been on it), etc are just spreading the NU BLACK CONSCIOUSNESS.

In the mid-late 90's BLack bookstores where popping, thats where these peeps got the knowledge

meh I listened to one of his podcast/livestream/whatever the fukk it is and I came away extremely unimpressed. It was the episode where he was talking about that Sotomayor dude and he came off petty and sounding much like the average coli poster using corny ass jokes and phrases. From a entertainment aspect I can see how some in the coli can be entertained by that shyt but on a serious level fk no.

He's equal to Kain Carter in terms of a Black voice in the media. That's actually a little insulting to Kain Carter. At least Kain is funny. Tariq Nasheed is useless, immature, sexist, a c00n, and just overall kind of stupid. I really can't tell what you guys see in him. He's not even right some of the time. I'd rather listen to Jenna Marble's white ass go on a rant about her dog, than listen to Tariq Nasheed attempt to articulate a Black issue.

:ehh:

Don't forget psychology. That's the main thing that attracted me to him because I used to think I was the only one who thought the way i do but once I learned about him, and tom leykis, I don't feel like I'm an oddball in the way i think and how I maneuver through life.
