This is probably gonna sound hella corny but it honestly put the pieces together for my life. My entire life I've always been trying to figure out who I am and after watching the movie it really gave me knowledge of self . This was always missing in my life being the "whitened" black guy my entire life it didn't feel right and it kinda gave me a purpose to achieve something for myself and forget the past obstacles that have held me back.

I'd have to say it probably would have came later. I saw it when I was in a transitional period in my life. I just exited the Army, I wasnt in school, I was just really loafing around doing nothing. For myself it did really make look at my life and see what the fukk is really going on, It was the catalyst I needed to get on the right track.
