They lost seats in Congress and Clinton wasn't up for re-election. This was a wildcard move that may not play out as some anticipate. That's why Pelosi was reticent on impeachment in the first place.

Now she’s going to delay it going to the Senate because she knew it won’t pass but the Dems want this in the papers so it can be plastered everywhere during his campaign. All it is going to do is ignite his supporters even more because it is all about politics and nothing about the citizens.

Pelosi just announced she won't send the articles of impeachment to the Senate yet until they get a fair trial. So most likely, she will send it once the Democrats win the Senate next year, which means he won't be eligible for a 2nd term once he is removed. Democrats out here playing 4D chess.

You know they need 2/3rds of the Senate to remove him and not a majority? Literally 66 or more senators. I don’t see him actually being removed but wishful thinking.

Because voters who are on the fence will have to willing re elect a president who has an impeachment on his wrap sheet. Those voters are already undecided, this impeachment won't age well for him. Also the fact that its only happened three times in history isn't favorable for him either. It basically says you are a faulty president.....a lemon. Republicans and many conservatives still view Clinton as a lemon.......and it's one of the reasons hilary didn't win.

80's 90's.....whatever, dc was chocolate city at the time and cornering the vote for him wasn't exactly difficult. And I don't agree....a lot of voters will go into the booth with all of his record on their minds and this impeachment will certainly be included. People will not willfully ignore this tidbit.
