The proceedings have been interesting but truthfully.......these votes were decided before the impeachment hearings even began. The Dems were going to vote "yay" and the GOP would vote "nay." None of the politicians (especially the Republicans) were really paying attention to anything. Their "vote" was a predetermined party-line choice.
The Senate vote will go along similar lines with virtually every GOP senator voting "nay."
Trump has a low ceiling but a very high floor. He won't dominate in any election but he always has a legit shot because there's a built in percentage of people that would vote for him even if he paid them NOT TO VOTE FOR HIM. In his mind, all he needs is to either tamp down voter turnout (negative ads, voter suppression, apathy etc) or add a couple of points here & there to his base. His biggest fans aren't really "conservative" in any meaningful sense. They just want to return to 1919 and hate everything. Bush never had acolytes like that. Dude is a cult.
I'm entirely aware of the political situation surrounding the Republican-controlled Senate.C’mon! When people think of impeached they are thinking of actually being removed from office not getting an F on a report card.
The same woman that spearheaded this is now contemplating on delaying the Senate trial because she knows it will not pass but want people such as yourself to bask in this symbolic victory.
Trump has taken nothing but L's as President since the 2016 election
- His administration on inauguration day have damn near all been fired, resigned or have been criminally charged
- Exposed for paying off pornstars with Campaign money
- Roger Stone. Paul Manafort, and Michael Cohen are all in prison for committing crimes for him
- Wall that he promised has not been built and he'll never get it funded despite having control of house and Senate for first two years
- Failed in repealing Obamacare
- Lost the House in 2018 by record numbers
- First president to be impeached in his 1st term
But he's gonna transcend the odds and win in 2020 despite all of this![]()

So basically this impeachment will fire up Trump supporters how? They are already fired up, they will vote for him regardless, how does impeachment HELP Trump get re-elected. So are you saying Trump will get the same amount of independents and women this second go around? Will he get more Latino's than last time, are you saying he will win more states than in 2016. I just want to know the basis of this logic.
No president has ever been removed from office because of impeachment, why are y'all painting this narrative?
Y'all are showing a lack of education if you equate impeachment to removal

this is all a show breh and folks eat it upA lot of Americans really don’t know how their government works and it shows.
Most of y'all must not know how impeachment works.
Like many others have said, it doesn't mean he's going to get removed from office.
Clinton was impeached and served two terms.
Why wouldn't the GOP want Trump gone. He has to have been a headache for the last 3 years.
unnecessary stress. They should get rid of the problem
Theres either a lot of posters with a defeatist attitude on the coli or undercover Republicans.![]()

Electoral college is really really stupid and the rural-to-urban migration is a big problem.Truth be told, I hate all the time wasted on trying impeach trump. It doesn't get to the heart the true structural problem with 45's presidency.
He lost by 3 million votes, yet still won over a few states by less than 80,000 votes.
The reality is America needs to focus on eliminating the electoral college, as well as revamp the senate.
It's existence is an unfair advantage to smaller states with a less significant population.
This form of discrimination is only magnified when, considering the contemporary trend of people moving from small towns and rural areas to large cities, primarily on the coast.
By 2050 it's projected that most of the world will live in major cities.
