they won't have to fight it, their only resort will be to embrace it

it is shortsighted to think there is only money to lose for bankers and governments with Bitcoin. there is also fortunes to be made
what I'm saying is if that bankers don't feel like they can middleman and control it they will fight against it.. why do u think the biggest opposition of BTC was JP Morgan.. china might talk shyt but they just did it to manipulate the market... this is a real threat to bankers (who run the entire world)... so they would have to be the ones to embrace it really...the only way they'll embrace it is if they can find ways to create money out of it ... or if u force them to

read this about a month and a half ago. I'll look for more information.

I do know that they close down business accounts having to do with bitcoin down whenever they find them. I'll def find more information for you. Honestly all it shows to me is that they want a piece of the pie... i mean that's how these banks make so much damn money. BTC regulation and taxes are coming breh.

Breh, how do you even buy them shyts :dwillhuh:

I'd cop some, but I don't now where from :damn:

You have a couple of options:

1. Trade/exchange sites (e.g. Coinbase, BTC-E, BTER, Bitstamp, Cryptsy, Mt. Gox, etc.)

I'm not too familiar with this one, but you basically make an account on one of the sites, and you can buy coins with money, sell coins for money, or exchange an amount of one type of coin for the equal value amount of another coin (e.g. trade one $850 bitcoin for thirty-four $25 litecoins). It's like the stock market; you can buy coins when their value is low, then later sell them when their value shoots up, to make a profit

I tried to dabble in this option myself, but I stopped because apparently most of these sites ask you to connect your bank account, and even do shyt like send them scans of your passport and a recent utility bill before you can do exchanges :usure:......you can do that shyt if you want to, but it ain't that serious for me, breh :heh:

Chances are, you might have to buy bitcoin direct first and then trade it for another type of coin like dogecoin, as opposed to buying the other coin direct with cash

2. Bitcoin/altcoin internet forums ("altcoins" are pretty much all the other coins that aren't bitcoin)

Independent forums where they discuss a particular coin (or all coins in general), and they'll usually have a section where members can buy/sell/trade coins. Probably the most well-known one is bitcointalk. For dogecoin, there's doges.org. Reddit and its various subreddits like r/dogecoin, fall into this category as well. This is my preferred option for buying/selling coins.

One downside is, most forum members treat newbies like shyt, and act like they're all scammers who simply signed up to scam.....so you'll have to post a bit and get a little rep before some people will even trade with you. Another one is that most members don't fukk with paypal due to chargeback risk, so you'll have to use lesser-known, non-reversible methods of paying like okpay or skrill.....either that, or trade-coin-for-coin (coin-for-coin using a trusted escrow, is probably the best way for all parties to avoid getting scammed; once you send the coins, you cannot get them back unless someone chooses to send them back). Also.....don't EVER trade without an independent party being an escrow, no matter how trustworthy a member seems. The escrow should also be site/forum-approved, like a mod/admin (the forum will usually have a list/sticky of trusted and well-established escrows), and not just some random third member

3. ebay

If you're desperate, ebay is another option. The upside for ebay buyers is that you can easily and quickly buy coins with the very familiar paypal option, instead of doing all the site exchange/forum trade bullshyt that most people aren't familiar with.......also there's a lower risk of getting scammed, since if the seller doesn't give you the coins after you pay, you can just do a chargeback and get a refund. The downside for ebay buyers is, most sellers sell the coins at WAY more than their actual value, sometimes double the value (which is somewhat understandable considering the risk they're taking; i.e. someone can pay for the coins, receive them then do a chargeback so they have their coins and their money)

Make sure the seller has good feedback, and their account isn't too new. Also, ebay has recently been removing bitcoin/altcoin auctions since selling virtual currency is technically against their rules, however it's been reported that they're gonna allow it sometime in February, so it's still an option....

And of course, you can reverse the upside/downside if you're planning to sell coins on eBay (you can make more money selling coins, but you open yourself to getting scammed by buyers via paypal)

@I'm Billy FUCO!!

Looks like you may have sold too soon

t's bobsleigh time: Jamaican team raises $25,000 in Dogecoin
Enthusiastic fundraisers have raised more than 26m in Dogecoin, a joke alternative currency, which could help propel the Jamaican bobsleigh team to the 2014 Winter Olympics

Oh, I was well aware at the time......I only sold SOME of my dogecoins for a reason :youngsabo:

Between the media attention from the Jamaican bobsled shyt, the block reward halving that's coming up in February, and the Chinese pumping up the value in the past few days, dogecoin is gonna gain some serious value in the short term. I'm banking on the long-term, though. If dogecoin ever hits a dollar in value, I'm gonna be swaggin' it up like
