so how does that work?
Anytime a new bitcoin is created a squad of those rigs take increments of that bitcoin. There are "mining pools" that people join to collect as much coin as they can and distribute it between each other. Its not uncommon for a single person in a pool to have a dozen of those things runnin at once.

Some of them don't get anything for days or weeks. But if you're lucky, you get a whole coin in a short period of time. And those rigs could eat up alot of electricity as well

sell real water
I do. And things are going great. You can buy some at http://mollywatr.com/ we have water and merch available.

But that's not what this thread is about. I'm just trying to find out who's *actually* making money from this Bitcoin thing. Because I see a bunch of people that spent a lot of money but I'm not meeting people that seemed to be making money. It seems very… scammy.

Like, I have friends in the MLM game. People that actually made money from that whole thing. But I know the vast majority of people don't win. That's what this Bitcoin thing seems like.

The last good story of a Bitcoin haul I heard was from a forum poster on a coding forum I frequent that cashed out when if first boomed. After that I've just been hearing stories of people working tirelessly to pump up the value of the coin and to get other suckers to buy in. Like any other pyramid scheme.
