To be honest, it really does depend on the girl, the situation, whether they're already feeling you on not, etc.

Some girls may think it's cute, some may think it's corny and others might have an issue with you calling them "baby" (as it can be seen as infantilising especially coming from a stranger). Lol maybe I'm projecting with the last one.
