i say to get a 2002 saturn sc2.
great gas milage and the fully loaded ones are nice with a suicide door.
cheap insurance.. cheap upkeep.. nice potential in modifications.

u can get one for a low price, even with under 75000 miles,
beat it up since its made of plastic with a steel cage and not worry because nothing dents.
he'll save money and have a strong, somewhat safe car to get frm point a to b.

Camry or Accord will be the most reliable you can find...Saturns too.
