He kinda fell off the face of the earth for a while tho

Nice to see him active again, he's one of the greats. Wish he locked in with less known artists and cranked out more work tho if I'm being honest

I don’t think he's overlooked.

He's done some classic work. But he's not on the level of the greats though, with impact and presence. So I think he gets the respect he deserves, but he ain't overlooked. It's not just about a "big record" here and there. It's about that longevity, consistency along with the impact.

I think Presence is the biggest thing here for him. He didn't have a big enough of a run to solidify himself and dissappear like Just Blaze.

He was more in that Alc and Jake One lane, and the biggest difference with Alc is the work rate and output.

Mans is what Easy Mo Be could have been if he got the help that he needed :francis: .

Shame Hi Tek didn't pop off like Alc and em in 2025. Dude is so diverse when it comes down to production.

Right!

Just had huge records, but he was killing sh*t so crazily during his run, that you couldn't ignore him. High quality music too. Tek would pop up here and there. That's not good enough if you want to be mentioned with the greats.

Producers really have to chill with this "What about meeeeeee?" sh*t that so many of them are on now. Your catalogue is supposed to speak for itself.
