Man I could go on and on bigging up hi tek. Dude has done it all and has his own sound. Know he's he's not from the west but man he has those thick baselines still(cough,dr dre,cough and I'm a huge dre Stan) thick drums and just dope ass samples.
He can go from underground to the top artist in the mainstream. He's very much about sound quality which I love
he uses live instruments for everything. He samples himself/ or musicians for drums. Chops his own live creations up, puts them in The MPC to give it that hip hop feel. Adds real bass lines ad keeps a base sample
