Ok im gonna make a comment on this...
I was just in the Kerry Rhodes thread reading about how athletes dont realize the worth of a dollar stuff...Which brings me to this thread and seeing a man being fined $75,000 for 2 words..2 words...Think about that. Over $37,000 per word, one of them words is only 2 letters, nearly $18,000 a letter
Now obviosly I know the NBA has an image to uphold and a brand to sell and they dont want to come off as an anti gay business but I honestly dont think that (1) there were many gay fans watching at this time that got offended. (2) The gay fans that were watching this interview are presumably already fans and understand the players a little better than to misconstrue what Hibbert said to the point where the boycott the NBA because they think its anti-gay.
iono just putting my two cents in there...im not gay so it would be impossible for me to feel any kind of direct physical hurt from Hibbert saying that but....$75,000 my dudes...75 gs
edit: I just realized how gays are moving in on our sports like this....I know gay people play sports and all but imposing your lifestyle like this its kinda like
