:mjcry: It’s over :to:

I’m hopeful that Ewing keeps that SWORD and GOTG synergy.

But what’s more important is Marvel keeping Hickman da gawds work alive and not ruin it like they did avengers

I’m still pissed at them fukking that up and turning the best version of Hyperion into nothing :aicmon:

He started the shyt to let someone else finish it. I hope the x series manages to stick the landing. Hopefully Al Ewing gets his hands on it rather than that fukkstick bendis or Jason Aaron

No, he had a whole plan
He said the other writers wanted to stay in phase 1
I thought the plot was going nowhere after PoX and HoX
Now it makes sense

Hickman stuff gets too confusing but his X-Men run was exciting

For me, most of the ideas had already been done (council, living on Krakoa, coming to an "understanding" with govt authorities, open invitation to most mutants only w/ exceptions). I didn't like The Maker Charles-in-Charge, and the resurrection thing and some of their new characterizations. There were some things I did like though, and I like Hickman's work (F4, SHIELD, Secret Warriors, Time Runs Out). Honestly, for someone with as many ideas and his meticulous planning, I think the X-Men just had too big of a roster for him to truly get a handle on it.

Inferno seems like a jumping off point for these X-Books.

Gerry Duggan's run is ok so far as a fun, action-heavy book, but I kinda... don't care about any of it? Hickman's run was (for better or worse) the connective tissue across all the X-Books, and now everything's starting to feel disjointed and scatterbrained since Hellfire Gala.
