Glad that he's Afraid of a Juggernaut like Rockstar/GTA V. If he's The Perfectionist that we all think he is then this Fear will make MGS5 better. We've already played GTA V and a MGS 5 Demo so he has a Chance to capitalize on this. He can Jump clean over GTA V if given the Chance with the right Purpose, this may be it.

And that's exactly what makes him the best at what him and his company does...steel sharpens steel...the thing is with ALOT of companies now they dont know how to balance out next level graphics with enough solid gameplay to go next to said graphics...look at BF3 and BF4..looks fukkin' amazin maxed out...but the bugs and gameplay are lackluster....we are movin too fast right now....we forgot how we enjoyed MGS on playstation and GTA3 strictly on gameplay ...you cant say graphics because if you look back you'll know what i mean......right now we cant figure out if we want to settle with what we have graphically because they keep comin out with new tech for no damn reason

edit: also y'all are takin his comments too serious lol..he aint literally depressed sittin indian style with a katana rdy to commit that...Hideo is a jokester like most Japanese are (Ono from Capcom) but best believe he is takin this shyt serious in regards to his product...these are the type of people to get flip emotions left n right while still maintain their goal
