The reason why Philly Drill is so ass, is because it really doesn't fit the persona of what Philly is all about. Philly brehs spaz, snap, and put passion into the raps. Thus why heads look at Beans, Freeway, Black Thought, and even old school Will Smith as the mecca of the hip hop scene in the 215.
These youngins got the cocks of Chicago Drill rappers all up in the tonsils, they end up trying to use a shytty drill drum and bass line over demonic horror movie samples, and trying to catch up to the beat. Its not natural at all.

Cause music is magic, spellcasting, it goes beyond logic, every question you asked had logic behind it, what he decided to live and do was waaaaay beyond common sense, only answer I can think of is something reality defying (yet in this case, it was defining, fukking madness!).
