I always enjoy looking at old vids like this, even if its way before my time. High School must be so different today, with phones and social media. Also, guns.
Last night I was watching this doc on the Busing Era in Boston (white and black kids got sent to schools in diff. neighborhoods), and this scene had me rolling
I timestamped it, but it's 2:42. Brehs hopped out the wagon like they were going to prom. Flash to white people stressed.

I used to ride by Joe Dumars Bloomfield Hills house as a short cut to a summer job up there. He had a full indoor basketball court in his house by the lake up there.
High School kids in 1977 are somewhere between 55-60 years old now. Pretty much your parents/grand parents.
I think it puts things into context to say their ages in later years.
These kids were like 25 during the crack and HIV epidemics.
They were 30-ish by the time hip hop went mainstream.
The average tuition in the country at the time they would have been in college was around $2,500-3,000 (around $9,000 now depending on the year).
Average rent in the country was something like $200 a month.
