I've heard an argument that if they took all the paddings and helmet away, these dudes wouldn't go balls out crushing other dudes. Kinda like rugby, where it is still a physical game but you don't see the type of collisions you do on football. This shyt is sad though.

I've heard a lot of football players say that when your head hits the ground hard those are the worst and most dangerous hits. Can't prevent those types of injuries.
