Josh Allen gets all kinds of love around here and the way he used it was way worse. Easy solution is just don't use the word if you're not black. Or expect backlash if you do.
I don’t think what he did would cause enough controversy for them to take away his scholarship. It has to be a bigger agenda
While I completely agree with the spirit of your post, the difference is that Jewish people aren't running around referring to each other as "k*kes" or other anti-Jewish slurs in the way that we use an anti-Black slur. Sure, these athletes can just shut up and not comment on it at all but the quiet issue is that these same athletes are using this word and want to continue to without suffering any consequences. If a rule like this is applied to a white student but isn't applied to a Black student, it's an easy discrimination case.
These guys aren't defending this white student as much as they're defending their own right to continue using the n-word.

shyt is just really uncomfortable...especially knowing they're definitely saying that word in the privacy of their own home around their own people.

It is a racist policy if you think about. Almost peek absurdity.Black athletes will be out in full force saying how this is wrong if they have enough foresight to see how this same policy can and will bite them.
