I’ve noticed a shift in public acceptability and many people have too, and while it preceded trump maybe by a few years at most, he was the culmination and the catalyst for bringing it to the mainstream. The altright has been around maybe two years in its current iteration and now they feel emboldened because their guy is in the White House.
No one is saying racism didn’t exist, but there was a certain shame that these people would feel when outed for the most blatant racist actions. Now not so much.
Once again no one is saying that racism didn’t exist or that it’s even worse. But the blatant nature of some of the most non subtle forms of it such as calling someone slurs in their face, has increased. Now the more subtle stuff such as the system of white supremacy and laws that are enacted to harm black folks hasn’t changed and the clock is ticking all the same.
1. You just now noticed only what has been going on for 20 years on the net. It went on in the early 2000's and increased after 2008 .It's only been out in the limelight more because forum websites have been outed by mainstream media in 2016 and websites like thecoli focus( obsessively) everyday on finding videos of racism. I
2. It's about shame when the dumb masses of teenage kids talk shyt on social media thinking no one will ever catch them. Even adults do it thinking Social Media is their protector. Now people can get your info and it's a rap after that. All awhile the anonymous trolls stay in the background and continue to post their racist shyt to get you in your emotions.
3. If it's not worse, why is it getting more attention than ever on here? Before websites like this wouldn't even focus on ***** or S.F. but now it's obvious as if it's going to somehow rally the masses of black people together in a woke movement that doesn't exist against videos of random dumbasses. Somehow people have went from focusing on developmental change and strategies against White Supremacy to searching day and night for videos, articles, pictures of bed-wenching, c00ning and racist nobodies.
None of it is changing shyt. W.H. Deep State isn't scared, the Police State isn't scared, Politicians ain't scared. They all know that websites like this will fall in line with whatever as long as they don't connect the dots and rally the people up.
