High school students caught circulating list on social media that ranked female classmates by looks

Yes that’s another element I think is important. This isn’t as big of a deal in your 20s and up, but during those formative years this can be and is really damaging, especially to young girls. I was always ranked highly on the “body” portion of the rankings because I was that 12 year old girl with the T&A of a grown woman and I was extremely uncomfortable with attention being drawn to it at the time and I hated knowing I was being discussed in that way.

Kids are soft these days.

I blame Generation X parents, since they are mostly the ones with kids in middle school and high school/early college. Older Millenials (80's babies like myself) either haven't had kids yet or have youngins. The Gen-X parents were that 'latch-key' generation and saw a lot of divorce. I think they've gone overboard and made their kids soft and squishy. They gave them every advantage to try and beat us. The parents of older Millenials are mostly Baby-Boomers that came up during the Civil Rights era. Gen X has been mad at Boomers for three decades and they don't have the numbers to take control from them. Gen X realized that if they can't beat the Boomers, they can beat us through their kids. Problem is that their kids are weak. Successful, but can't really handle pressure in the pocket.
