I was bytchless in high school and didn't lose my virginity til post highschool. I will say this, they lying. shyt made my soul burn.

I did have some admirers but not having a smartphone nor car, made it impossible.
Getting roasted for being hoeless by cousins made it worse. I've moved on though.

Common sense will tell you this is bullshyt. We're in puberty and want to fukk and everyone around us is fukking. Why would we be happy we not getting accepted? fukking nerds are dumb as fukk.

GMB will take this to mean "dating leads to depression," but its more likely depressed teens seek companionship at a higher rate.

Depression is higher now than ever, but teen dating has gone on since the dawn of time.

I feel like going through that heartbreak or depression due to someone else is the natural course of things. Something better learned at a young age imo. It helped me grow and do better in other relationships later in life. Certain lessons are better learned early.

Yep it helps you grow as a person and learm what you want in a relationship. I think one of the issues with some of thess kids now is that they put off dating and interacting with folks until they are adults.

Which is one of the reasons some of these young folks don't even know how to hold a conversation with people without looking at their phone 24/7.

Man y'all spoiled as shyt.

I didn't have a "smartphone and car" :dahell:

I was broke as fukk in highschool skipping meals and still getting driven around by girls who had cars if I wasn't on the bus. Or we met up on the subway. Chatted on the computer when I had no phone....

Circumstances don't defeat you, you fail yourself. Poverty is a state of mind. Broke is something you can overcome.

The ones I chatted with on Facebook couldn't drive and my options were limited. I dont live in a place with subways to meet up nor sidewalks to walk to shorty. That's dope it worked for you but it couldn't for me fam.

It's common sense. As a teen, most kids want to be liked/popular or just fit in. It's a lot of pressure then you add trying to have romance on top of that, and you don't even know how to fukk right or deal with new types of emotions.

I get it..

Parent's need to do a better job at molding their kids relationship journey, and not suppressing it..

If your kid wants a companion, don't just simply say no and end it there.. Talk to them about it often and let them know you're supportive of a natural behavior..
